The third important change is the division of the race into two parts, Saturday and Sunday. Citroen fielded two cars, one for Pierre Lartigue and the other for Ari Vatanen, but after just 25 km of the race, the Finn's Zx rears up, overturning several times and leaving the race in the hands of Lartigue.
