As said before, Gadasin will be in the competition driving his same Off- Road vehicle - a Nissan Pick-up – with his navigator Aleksandr Mironenko.
This is an important confirmation for the PN race, that is having large international entries with following crews: three Hungarian pilots namely Imre Varga (Nissan Pick-up), Balasz Szalay (Opel Antara) and Lukacs Andrai (Gbaba Proto); the Spanish Luis Climent (Toyota Proto); the Polish Piotr Beaupre (Bowler Wildcat); the Germans Amadeus Matzker (Land Rover Defender Md5r) and Tino Schmidt (Mitsubishi Pajero); and two Belgians namely Jost Van Cauwenberge (Bowler Nemesis) and Vincent Thijs (Mitsubishi Mivec). Paolo Mora, from Parma, is the first entered Italian with his Mitsubishi L200 Evo. And this is only the excellent start of a list of competitors that we hope is going to be a long one.
The appointment of the International Cup for Cross Country Bajas is of great interest for fans of “tout terrain”all over the world.
This Sport needs enthusiasm and freedom spaces, inside a well organized contest, reliable and competent, just like the ItalianBaja’s.
Italian baja has already reached its 15th edition in Pordenone, overcoming doubts and difficulties, taht never damaged our soul, instead strengthening our pride for being part of Pordenone Off-Road Club 4x4, that celebrates this year the 25th anniversary of its foundation.
News about the track must be “top secret” at the moment. Anyway we are doing our best to satisfy the “cross country baja formula”: fast ,speedy and yet challenging tracks with the total of hundreds of kilometers to be run. This year we are not talking only about cars.
Italian Baja 2008 will see motorcycles and quads that shall certainly give the race emotions and a great spectacle in an open and fascinating landscape.
For all competitors, the appointment is fix on Thursday March 13th at “Dream Village” in Cordenons for the administrative checking and the protagonists of the race ambitious to see finally the chequered flag.
