The long weekend of the World Cup finally starts.

The Italian Baja opens today its Head Quarter at the Pordenone Fair, once more location for the race direction, the secretary of the event, the stewards board, press office and classifications centre, covered assistance area for all participants. The best circumstances for working well. Mauro Tavella: “We consolidated during last years a solid and productive relationship with the Fair organizers, which gave all of us satisfaction”.
RECORD OF ENTRIES. This year, when neither bikes nor quads take part in the Italian Baja, for reasons regarding just Fmi and Fim and have nothing to do with the availability of the Fuoristrada Club 4x4 Pordenone, the record of cars’ entries (74) reaffirm the importance of a competition able to wisely mix the values of the World Cup for Cross Country Rallies with the ones of the specialty Italian Championship.
“WINE CELLAR” AND “VALVADROM”. Sport and promotion of the Land. The titling of the Selective Sectors directly homage the places crossed by the race, silently helping their visibility. The “Rauscedo Jump” among the wineyards of the wine cellar Cantina di Rauscedo is by now a traditional date for all fans who watch the incredible jump during vehicles’ acceleration. At a short distance another attraction: the more recent “Valvadrom”, thanks to the availability of the Cava Mosole, the local tourist office Pro Valvasone and the association Lupus in Fabula.
SOCIAL LIVE COVERAGE. More and more deep and various the communication work demonstrated by the Italian Baja. The most spectacular passages of the race, as well as the start and arrival ceremonies, will be transmitted live on the proper channel of the YouTube platform. Besides, the evocative press conference of pilots before the start (on Friday 16th at 2:30pm) with the voice of Nicola Villani by Eurosport, The Italian Baja website and the Facebook page will offer then all interviews and classification updating.
