Celebrations in style with dynamic profile acceleration
There has long been talk of Italian Baja as the off-road brand for Italy under the Friuli Venezia Giulia brand. Not just sports competition, but economic inducements, promotion of the territory and international visibility. The Off-road Club 4 × 4 Pordenone is preparing suitable celebrations for the 25th anniversary of the race (21/24 June) and, first of all, relying on the now consolidated partnership for communication design with Doris Palmisano, who has revisited the historic race brand.
QUESTION OF FORM AND SUBSTANCE. Matteo Palmisano explains that "the historic lozenge, thanks to a rounded profile, has become on the one hand a symbol and silhouette of a sports car and on the other an opportunity for better visibility on social media profiles, giving the brand itself greater dynamism above all for years to come, without the obligatory laurel wreath for the 25th. At the same time, the reorganization and inclusion in the brand of dates and specialties finally make it possible to certify the race in the Cross Country Rally World Cup ranking. "
THE "ZAR" IS THE FIRST ENROLLMENT. Boris Gadasin remains on the hunt for the fourth seal with his updated G-Force prototype for the occasion. After the triumphs in cadenza (2007, 2009, 2011), the "tsar" of St. Petersburg no longer hit the maximum target at the Italian Baja, often punished by mechanical troubles. This time he is the first to enter the race, a sort of pre-emption on the podium waiting to meet the challengers.
PRZYGONSKI LEADER OF THE CUP. After Russia, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Qatar, at the top of the provisional World Cup standings is the Polish Jakub Przygonski, first in the Italian Baja last year. Two wins, a second and a fourth place, for a total of 144 points against the 113 of the Czech Martin Prokop and the 111 of the Russian Vladimir Vasilyev, also winner in Pordenone in 2012. Only eighth at the moment Nasser Al-Attiyah with the 30 points conquered making his seasonal debut in the Northern Forest Baja. Next meeting at the end of May in Kazakhstan and then the world championship challenge on the shores of Meduna, Cosa and Tagliamento.
