Pordenone, 25th June 2024_ The list of enrolled were sent to the competent Federations for the approval and the assignation of race numbers. Still some days of waiting to know the official list of contestants in the XXXI Italian Baja, from the 4th to the 6th of July, full of emotions and curiosities with its four crossed competitions - the Italian Championship Cross Country, the Hungarian Championship and the Fia European Cup.
Four will be the final rankings and four the awards ceremonies at the Interporto di Pordenone, headquarters for the fourth year in a row. Announced at the starting line all the best national and international specialists, because none wants to miss such an important event of the current season. Full of good omens the winners of the first two tricolor steps - Artugna Race and Baja Colline Metallifere - Manuele Mengozzi and Andera Schiumarini for the car sector, Andrea Castagnera and Federico Buttò for the light quadricycles. The Italian Baja calls to action on Tagliamento’s banks the two top drivers Sergio Galletti, this time on a Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Amerigo Ventura, loyal to his Yamaha Yxz 1000R. The absolute prognostic is in favor of the foreigners, following the tradition, with diamond tip Portuguese Joao Ferreira (Mini John Cooper Works Rally Plus) that won the first position in the Spanish Extremadura
