Pordenone, 19 June 2024_ There are two days left to register for the XXXI Italian Baja (5/6 July), this year's stage of the FIA European Cup, Hungarian Championship, Italian Cross Country Baja and Ssv Championship. Three races in one with an identical track, except for the fact that the competitors of the Hungarian and national race will not make the last selective sector on the Tagliamento, reserved only for the international challenge.
The provisional entry list already features many important Italian and foreign names, with two top level announced at the start of the Mini John Cooper Works Rally: the Polish Michal Maluszynski and the Portuguese Joao Ferreira, already seen in action and capable of booking the overall podium.
Also competing in the European Cup are Amerigo Ventura on a Yamaha Yxz 1000R and Andrea Castagnera on a Can Am Maverick X3, supported respectively by Erika Mingozzi and Elisa Tassile. For them there are many category opponents, while among the T1 prototypes a very welcome return is that of the Lithuanian Benediktas Vanagas on a Toyota Hilux, often the protagonist of attacking races in Pordenone.
